Ok, a quick post mostly because I have these pretty cool artsy shots I took at the museum that I don’t know where else to put. The Museo Larco is a pre-Colombian artifacts museum located in Pueblo Libre, a 20 minute car ride from the bubble. It houses a pretty comprehensive collection of relics presented well and in an interesting fashion. There is also a separate collection of erotic pre-Colombian artifacts you can take time to contemplate [on the off chance you aren’t visiting Lima with you grandmother]. It is all in a beautiful 18th century building that was placed right smack on top of a 7th century pyramid. If you are into archeology; this is the place for you. Also on the grounds, is a romantic little restaurant set within the garden. See my review here.
